SHY - C - 6S is a cationic micro-self-regeneration electrolytic microfilm suppressor, which is used to reduce background conductance and improve cation detection sensitivity during cation chromatography analysis.
The working principles of the two are similar. They both use continuous self-regeneration thin film electrical suppression technology to generate hydrogen ions and hydroxide ions by electrolyzing the electrodes through the electrolysis of water. They use the selective permeability of the ion exchange membrane to migrate directionally under the action of an electric field to suppress the corresponding ions in the eluent, thereby reducing the background conductivity and improving the detection sensitivity of the ions to be measured, and there is no need for additional acid or alkali for regeneration.
